Cotton Sateen Lining: We use a thick, luxuriously crisp cotton lining in ivory or white to line curtains. It’s a classic choice.
Interlining: Once you have seen and felt interlined curtains or blinds you will always want interlining - a padded layer between your fabric and the lining to thicken them luxuriously. It has thermal properties as well, helping with drafts in winter and protection from heat in summer. Curtains and blinds hang and fold better with interlining too.
Blackout lining - it’s not black!: Blackout lining blocks all light through the fabric, ideal for bedrooms when you don’t want to wake too early. It hangs softly, is thick and luxurious, and has some thermal properties too. Please note that hand stitched blinds have a few tiny pinpricks of light coming through where the hand stitching is.
If you have a pole, measure the pole width excluding the end finials. If you have a track measure the total width.
The finished length is the measurement from the very top of the curtain to the bottom hem.
Curtains can be hung either to the floor, to the sill or to below the sill. We suggest that curtains finish either;

We offer a “stacked” or “waterfall” option on our roman blinds.
Stacked option means each fold is the same size, so that all the folds are level when the blind is pulled up.
Waterfall option means each fold is a little longer than the last to create a staggered effect when the blind is pulled up.
Which option you go for is down to personal preference but also depends what fabric you have chosen and which style is better suited to your pattern.
